The Creative Circle Awards were announced this week and it's
great to see so many of our clients and partners win in so many
categories.
Special congratulations must go to our friends at Red Brick Media
for the night's 'Best TV Commercial' - Magners 'Catch'/'Straight' which celebrated multiple wins and
scooped the prestigious Platinum Award.
Hovis 'Miss
Chief' also had a fantastic night picking up not one, but five
of the coveted accolades with Gorgeous Enterprises and MCBD
receiving Gold honours for Best Production Design and Best
Direction, and the anti-knife crime campaign 'Who Killed
Deon' was also rewarded with AMV BBDO claiming three silvers
including 'Best Cinema Commercial'.
Other Mill collaborations to receive awards on the night included
Honda 'Red Green Blue',
Nike 'Write
The Future', French
Connection 'The Man' & 'The Woman', DFT 'Named Riders' and T-Mobile 'Welcome
Home'.

The Mill announced today that as part of its continuing
expansion plans it will be opening a visual effects studio within
BBH Singapore.
Mill at BBH is the continued expansion and our first export of
our hugely successful Mini Mills - a Mill VFX studio based within a
partner's office. Mill at BBH will be the hub of our BBH
Singapore work.
The team will be initially set up by our creative team John
Thornton Lead 2D and Aidan Gibbons Lead 3D (pictured above, left to
right), alongside Neil Evely, Head of Operations at The Mill and
the studio will include Nuke, Smoke, Smoke on Mac, 3D and Final Cut
to ensure BBH and The Mill's signature high end creative work.
Robin Shenfield, The Mill Group's CEO explains: "We are
expanding globally with the forthcoming move and expansion of our
LA studio and now our joint venture with BBH, where we will
continue to collaborate creatively and produce challenging and
diverse work."
The expansion cements our long term global relationship with BBH
with whom we have been working together for 21 years.
Together, The Mill and BBH have collaborated on a range of high
profile and award winning campaigns from the iconic Levi's
Swimmer through to the recent Axe/Lynx - Even Angels
Will Fall commercial, as well as the launch of the Singapore
Tourism Board's global destination brand campaign, 'YourSingapore' with BBH Singapore.
