After days of discussion and deliberation, this year’s jury has announced the shortlist for the inaugural year of the combined British Arrows and British Arrows Craft Awards 2017.
As one of the most respected British advertising award bodies, The Mill is excited to to have ten pieces of work shortlisted across four categories.
In the category for 3D Animation, Waitrose, ‘Coming Home’ with adam&eveDDB, Rogue and Director Sam Brown has been recognised, alongside Heathrow ‘Coming Home for Christmas’ with Havas, Outsider and Directors dom&nic and SSE, ‘Neon House’ working with adam&eveDDB, Academy Films and Conkerco.
For Best CGI, Waitrose, ‘Coming Home’, Heathrow ‘Coming Home for Christmas’ and SSE ‘Neon House’ all received a second nomination and finally, in the category for Best VFX, Waitrose ‘Coming Home’ received a third nomination.
Mill Colourist James Bamford has received two nominations for Best Colourist with Burberry, ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry’ and No7, ‘Ready To Speak Up’. Mill Colourist Dave 'Luddy' Ludlam, alongside Peter Doyle has also been recognised for Best Colourist on H&M, ‘Come Together’.
The Mill is thrilled to see so many of its collaborators also recognised for great work, helping to create a hugely impressive body of craft for final review.
The shortlist winners will be announced at the British Arrows Awards show on 24th May 2017.
