The annual Art Director’s Club festival took place last week in Germany, as Hamburg played host to a number of advertising’s finest who gathered to sample the good weather, festival talks and even better parties.
The week was complimented by excellent sunny weather, meaning attendees were able to sit and enjoy coffee by the river Alster, as well as sample some of Hamburg’s many culinary hot spots, such as the Restaurant Heimat
, which proved itself incredibly popular and turned into the somewhat unofficial meeting place of ADC.
Needless to say heads were very sore by the end of the week!
The awards show took place on Thursday in the TUI Operettenhaus
, right on the famous Reeperbahn
, with the venue packed full of the who’s who in the advertising world from agencies, to production companies, to VFX houses, casting agencies and photographers.
The Mill scooped up two awards for the multi–award winning PETA ‘98% Human’
, one Bronze for Animation and one Silver for VFX, with the other major winner of the night being 'The Hornbach Hammer
' which won the well-earned Grand Prix award. See the full list of winners here
All in all, a successful week of sun, creativity and partying in Hamburg… until next year!
