For over 57 years The Kinsale Shark Awards has been championing creative thinking, highlighting the industry's outstanding work in an annual international awards and festival which takes place in Kinsale’s picturesque medieval port.
This year, The Mill's Experiential Director Noel Drew will be chairing the first ever Immersive category and addressing Kinsale delegates with his talk 'Buttons & Beyond: The Future of Immersive UX' which explores the history of human interaction with technology, to unravel what the future of immersive UX looks like. Noel’s talk will take place on Saturday 21st September at 3PM at Actons Hotel.
The Mill will also be presenting a number of experiential projects in the Immersive Lounge based in the Actons Hotel from Wednesday 18th September to Friday 20th September at 12pm - 6pm. The fully immersive VR experience ‘Paraiso Secreto’ originally created for Corona in collaboration with W+K Amsterdam will be on display as well as The Mill’s pioneering real-time animation puppetry system ‘Mill Mascot’.
Good luck to everyone who has entered the awards and do pop in to see The Mill team if you are on the ground in Kinsale this year.
