Creative excellence in design and advertising was honoured last week at the 2015 D&AD awards, which saw hundreds gather to see who had won the highest of accolades, a D&AD pencil.
Mill+ continued their collaboration with D&AD, concepting, designing and animating this year's title sequence, as well as all print collateral, which centered around the 'ASCEND' concept created by Mill+ creative directors Carl Addy and Nils Kloth.
The concept takes five of the iconic D&AD pencils and visualizes them as individual mountains, each constructed from the materials represented in each award. From Wood through to Yellow and Black pencils, we see the range depicted in varying heights, mirroring the levels of challenge associated with winning each one of these coveted accolades.
