The creative industry gathered in Berlin this week for the annual Ciclope Festival and Awards. The global event celebrates craft in moving image, focusing on the art of execution and use of innovation to tell stories across all mediums.
An addition to this year’s festival was the Ciclope Next Room, wherein The Mill showcased a range of our latest immersive work, including Google ATAP’s Spotlight Stories project, ‘HELP’ and Gatorade's ‘Bryce Harper Virtual Reality Experience’.
The Mill celebrated another night of success at the awards ceremony, with SSE ‘Maya’ picking up a trio of accolades; Gold for VFX, Silver for Character Design and Bronze for 3D Animation. The Angry Birds 2 Launch Film was also awarded a Silver for 3D Animation and the Playgrounds 2014 Title Sequence from Mill+ directors Bif was awarded Silver in the Title Sequences category.
