The film is a sleek twist on the tropes of big Hollywood action flicks. Police surround a warehouse, something is inside and we don't know what. A high tech robot is sent inside to investigate.
Aline explains, "I was in New York and Fleur et Manu were in Paris, and in spite of the distance between the two continents, we did everything in real time. They wanted to create a filmic look, and the DOP, Nicolas Loir, gave us American movie references including "Inside Man" and "Children of Men". We also crafted a special look for the inside car shots, using a wonderful blue purple color that you don't normally see in car commercials. Before moving to New York, I used to work in Paris and using a remote session like this brought Paris and New York so close together, giving me the opportunity to work in French again and work closely with fabulous directors Fleur et Manu.
