Target kicks off spring with the launch of its clothing collaboration with fashion brand, Lilly Pulitzer. Chandelier Creative worked with Smuggler director Filip Engstrom and The Mill to create 'Lilly Pulitzer for Target,' an extravagant pool party awash in the bright, vibrant colors found in the classic clothing line.
To liven up the lavish party, the compositing team led by 2D Lead Artist Ilia Mokhtareizadeh added crowds of people, palm trees and augmented the clear blue skies in the outdoor scene. Mill compositors extended the environment with beautifully rendered matte paintings, matching the tone of the big bash.
The final end tag was created to show that the party had, in-fact been in a suburban house all along. Rows of houses, cars and pools were carefully placed to become the Target logo.
The festive and playful spot is faithful to the spirit of the clothing line and the famous Palm Beach parties Lilly Pulitzer herself, threw in the '60s.
