The ad features an enthusiastic employee of the insurance company amidst a brutal storm, pointing out all of the damage that NFU will 'pay out' for. From a broken roof, to bursting electrics, to a flooded kitchen; the spot nods to the brand’s endline ‘We Love to Pay’ by essentially saying there is nothing that they won’t cover, offering their customers comfort in what could be a very distressing circumstance.
Lead 2D Artist Gareth Brannan explains, "This was a brilliant project to be involved in, a classic 2D job containing a bit of everything. We shot in a studio with practical effects including wind, rain, lightening and explosions. Our job was then to create an environment that has a real theatrical feel to it, matching the in-camera effects and we are really happy with the final film. It was a lot of fun to be involved in."
