The fast paced, adrenalin infused spot is shot in a concrete, minimalist setting and sees a group of women running, gathering momentum and growing in numbers to a building bass fueled soundtrack.
The concrete structures cast long shadows, with overhead shots following the runners adding to the overall atmosphere of the ad, which showcases Adidas’ brightly coloured trainers in contrast to the pale, brutalist architecture.
Mill Colourist James Bamford explains ‘I love the simplicity of this piece. It’s minimalistic and colourless yet bursting with energy.
We decided to focus on bringing out the skin tones of the runners whilst using vignettes and shapes to pull the viewer's attention to the shoes.
I have always loved working with Sarah, she has a clear vision of what she wants the final piece to look like and is great fun to be with. I really enjoyed working on such an intriguing spot.’
