The spot plays on a classic Bond-style sense of suspense as viewers meet a beaten up man strapped to a table with an enormous spinning saw in-between his legs threatening to slice him in two. However, he is saved at the last second by the hero, who makes the correct decision to withdraw his money from a bet, with Betway's latest cash out feature.
Mill Colourist James Bamford explains; 'This campaign was aimed to be a homage to classic old films, in this particular spot the subject was James Bond.
Hanna was after a particular look, she gave us lots of references and there was a clear correlation to the old technicolor film style with a noisy image and flat colours but with a modern twist.
It was a really fun spot to work on, I also really enjoyed working with Tim, the DOP. Between the three of us, everything came together nicely and the spot turned out great.’
