In this emotional spot, the viewer feels the full impact of the impelling account of the story of Taylor Haines, born with a bone disorder called Fibular Hemimelia.
The spot is both dramatic and compelling - the fast pace cuts, the falls and the original photos of Taylor connect the viewer with the dancer’s pain. However, with courage and integrity comes success as the viewer watches Haines develop into the dancer she has always wanted to be.
For the last 10 years AXA has funded over 500 research projects all over the world, including prosthetic technology research that help people like Taylor every day.
The Mill worked closely alongside director Mark Zibert to present this captivating story. The main focus was to enhance the beauty of the piece and bring out the true colours of this incredible spot graded by Mill Head of Colour Seamus O’Kane.
