The viewer meets two new faces in this charismatic new spot. They take on the role of photocopy salesmen and deliver a Starsky and Hutch style performance, sliding over car bonnets, brandishing their ID’s simultaneously and dramatically running down stair wells.
Combined with flashy freeze frames, split screen shots and big cinema style credits throughout, the ad is full of fun and drama making it feel very iconic.
The Mill’s Creative Director Grant Berry explains, ‘It was great to collaborate with Director Robb Leggatt on a classic buddy 70’s cop title sequence.
We explored various colour palettes and typography that leant themselves to this genre and era. The compositions, use of split screens and fast paced edit allowed key cues for the titles to animate in / out of frame, whilst importantly feel integrated into the content.’
