Once again we got to collaborate with BBH, this time it was working alongside Pulse Films and double UK Music Video Award winning director Ben Newman, on a digital campaign for fashion website ASOS to launch their A/W '11 menswear collection.
The platform "Urban Tour" focusses on the latest trends in
culture, music, art and fashion from seven cities - London, New
York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo and Shanghai.
ASOS searched for talented individuals across the world to
showcase their new collections with director Ben Newman creating
two exciting films in Paris and Tokyo.
Our colourist Aubrey Woodiwiss graded both 'Paris' and 'Tokyo'
films. 'Paris' features a high-speed in-line skating crew through
the streets of France's capital city whilst 'Tokyo' features a
beatbox choir performing in an open square. Each spot tries
to get to the heart of key trends going on in two very different
major cities.
"We wanted to give the film a slight moodiness and edge,"
remembers Aubrey. "I think we definitely achieved the right balance
in the grade."
