Summary
Directed by Henry-Alex Rubin and created by Saatchi & Saatchi, 'Welcome Back' is T-Mobile's latest spot and they have called on old friends at The Mill for the newest instalment of the award winning 'Life's for Sharing' campaign.
Director Henry-Alex Rubin skilfully co-ordinated an arrival
committee like never before with a 300-strong crowd greeting weary
passengers at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5. 18-hidden cameras were
sat in wait to capture the moment the congregation spontaneously
erupted into synchronised song with T-Mobile's very own vocal
orchestra.
The shoot included various roving cameras from the Canon 7D's,
Silicon Imaging's 2K Mini Cam's and a recently launched device
called the Go-Pro, which is literally pocket sized - just 42mm x
60mm x 30mm!
Our data-lab turned around all the footage captured in an
astonishing 35-hours, incredibly faster than real time and
delivered to editorial with timecode to start cutting.
The 3-minute ad is part of a multi-media campaign that launched
on Friday 30th October, and aired simultaneously across
80 channels at 10.15pm - a spot definitely worth sharing.
