AxL are a creative and directorial partnership of Alex Large and Liane Sommers. After 10 years as Berlin-based artists, producing live immersive performance events and installation artworks which incorporate moving image and sound, the duo established a successful career directing music videos including promos for Kylie, Hercules and Love Affair and Tiga. Now splitting their time between London and Berlin their bold aesthetic and creative use of materials, design and light have translated beautifully to commercials, in particular the cosmetic and automotive world for Mercedes, YSL and Armani.

As natural born creatives they are able to consolidate their experience as performers, filmmakers and artists all the way through the pre and post production process with insight and confidence. Alex and Liane are an imaginative team, as well as being extremely likeable collaborators.
