Joshua Stocker is a graduate from the prestigious Chelsea College of Art and Design in graphic design. His debut film, a music video for Gem Club, thrust Stocker into the spotlight and bagged the Apple Store’s Bright Young Brits Award.
Stocker is keen to take risks and experiments with visual effects in his work. Coming from a design background, something that makes Stocker different to most directors is that he can leap between the roles of director and editor with slick transition. He can visualise his ideas with ease.
His slick, technically clever & precise style has seen him direct stand out pieces for Gucci, Dunhill, Esprit, American Eagle Jeans and Tods shoes, as well as his latest music video for Flight Facilities garnering a Vimeo Staff Pick.
