Multi award-winning Colourist Mark Gethin has over 20 years of colour grading experience. As Creative Director, he leads The Mill/MPC’s colour grading teams in Los Angeles and New York.

Mark has worked on TV shows and films for John Hillcoat, Gus Van Sant and more recently collaborated with director Mike Mills on ‘20th Century Woman’, The National’s “I Am Easy To Find’ and Mills’ most recent title ‘C’mon,C’mon’ starring Joaqin Phoenix, and Adam Berg’s upcoming film “Black Crab”.

Throughout his career he has worked on iconic commercials such as Jonathan Glazers Stella Artois ‘Skating Priests’ and Sony ‘Paint’ and collaborated with A-list filmmakers including directors Rupert Sanders, Lance Accord and Dante Ariola and cinematographers such as Greig Fraser, Linus Sandgren and Emmanuel ‘Chivo’ Lubezki.

Mark is a three-time winner of the prestigious British Arrows Craft ‘Colourist of the Year’ Award, most recently in 2021 for his work on BMW ‘Legend’ directed by Dante Ariola. He is also a two-time AICP winner for ‘Best Colour Grading’ for his work on Chevrolet “Tailgates” directed by Rupert Sanders, Google Nest ‘Anthem’ directed by Mark Malloy, and his work on Mick Jagger’s “Gotta Get a Grip” music video won Best Colour Grade at the UK MVA’s.
