CHANEL’s “Winter Constellation” Shortlisted at Berlin Commercial
Awards
August 7, 2026
CHANEL’s “Winter Constellation”, directed by Gordon Von Steiner, has been shortlisted at the Berlin Commercial in the Craft: VFX/Animation category.
Produced by North Six, the holiday campaign brings together live action, hand-painted illustration, animation and VFX to create a refined, dreamlike universe. Built around five emblematic CHANEL symbols: Power, Luck, Harmony, Prosperity and Radiance, the film transforms fragrances, makeup and skincare into enchanted gifts.
The project highlights the seamless dialogue between craftsmanship and technology, with hand-painted illustrations by Sarah Martinon at the heart of its visual identity. The illustrations interact with live action and post-production to create a world that feels both poetic and highly crafted.
The shortlist also recognises the work of The Mill, responsible for VFX and animation, led by Executive Producers Fabrice Damolini and Laura Roddier and VFX Supervisor Alexis Baillia, alongside the wider VFX and animation team.
A strong recognition of the creative collaboration between CHANEL, North Six, Gordon Von Steiner and The Mill, and of the craft behind one of the season’s most distinctive luxury campaigns.
