GENIE Award Win for Emilia Pérez

The Film & Series teams (formerly MPC Paris) are proud to announce their win at the GENIE Awards, receiving the award for Best Environment for their outstanding work on Jacques Audiard’s acclaimed film Emilia Pérez.

This recognition celebrates the artistic and technical expertise of the VFX artists who helped bring the film’s distinctive visual world to life. Working closely with Jacques Audiard’s creative vision, the teams developed a range of immersive digital environments that seamlessly enhanced the storytelling while maintaining a natural and authentic visual language.

Shot extensively against blue screen, Emilia Pérez presented a significant creative challenge, requiring the design and integration of numerous digital environments to build a reimagined vision of Mexico. The teams crafted environments that supported the film’s unique aesthetic, blending seamlessly with live-action photography and enhancing the emotional impact of the narrative.
