The Mill joins CNC delegation in Los Angeles to showcase French visual effects

Connecting French VFX talent with the U.S. industry 

The Mill has been selected by the CNC (National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image) to take part in the fourth edition of U.S. Filmmaking in France: Living the French Experience. This delegation program is designed to showcase France’s production services companies, studios, VFX studios, and VFX production companies to the American industry. 

Rebecca Samulon, Business Development Producer at The Mill, will represent the studio as part of the delegation, organised in partnership with Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education in the United States, and Screen Global Production, alongside The American French Film Festival. 

As part of the festival, Rebecca will join the panel "The Emmy Nominated French VFX Behind The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" on Wednesday, November 4, from 10:00 to 10:40am at the Directors Guild Theater Complex. 

Using season three of the series as a case study, the discussion will explore how French VFX talent and production partners contribute to productions of this scale, highlighting the creative expertise and international collaboration behind the series.
