Taking place from \u003Cstrong>August 27 to September 6\u003C\u002Fstrong>, the festival once again highlights some of the most anticipated voices in contemporary cinema.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are proud to celebrate the selection of \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>Grand Ciel\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fem>, directed by \u003Cstrong>Akihiro Hata\u003C\u002Fstrong>, in the \u003Cstrong>Orizzonti\u003C\u002Fstrong> section. Produced by Good Fortune Films and Les Films Fauves, the social thriller follows a night-shift construction worker investigating the mysterious disappearances of colleagues on the site of a futuristic urban development.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The film's visual effects were crafted by \u003Cstrong>The Mill film & feries\u003C\u002Fstrong> (formerly \u003Cstrong>MPC Paris\u003C\u002Fstrong>), with \u003Cstrong>Hugues Namur\u003C\u002Fstrong> serving as VFX Supervisor and \u003Cstrong>Bastien Halter\u003C\u002Fstrong> contributing as Environment Artist and Matte Painter.
