3 Films Graded by Mill Colour artists premiere at TIFF 2019
For this year’s Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) which took place from September 5-15, Mill Colourists Damien Van Der Cruyssen
and Mikey Rossiter
graded three knockout films that premiered over the course of the event.
Van Der Cruyssen, Mill colourist and director of DI, graded two of the most talked about films of the festival, ‘Uncut Gems’ directed by The Safdie Brothers and Trey Edwards Shults’ ‘Waves’
, starring Lucas Hedges and Sterling K. Brown.
In theaters Christmas Day, The Safdie Brothers’ ‘Uncut Gems’
, became a stand-out TIFF highlight, gaining praise for Adam Sandler’s outstanding performance and a plot that is sure to be a wild ride.
Coming-of-age thriller, ‘The Giant’
, graded by Mill Colourist Mikey Rossiter, made it’s premiere at the festival, receiving acclaim for its cinematography and director David Raboy’s feature writing and directing debut.
