30 Years of The Mill | CG Lead, Kanishk Chouhan

To celebrate ‘30 Years Of The Mill’ we are turning our focus to the extraordinary people behind our creativity. We asked a snapshot of 30 Makers from across The Mill to share their most inspiring projects from the past, alongside their future-facing insights on the advertising industry and evolution of creative technology. Next up we have CG Lead, Kanishk Chouhan who tells us how Google Spotlight Stories 'HELP' truly pushed the boundaries of creativity and how he foresees the industry changing over the next ten years.

What piece of Mill work do you believe pushed the boundaries of production creativity & why?

I would have to choose Google Spotlight Stories ‘HELP’, you see the whole story play out right in front of your eyes, the 360 view is incredible considering it was probably one of the only immersive experiences before VR headsets. This truly pushed the boundaries of creativity and provided directors a new way to tell their story.

What will be the most defining change in the creative industry over the next decade?

I strongly feel that The Mill will continue to pioneer technology and be a benchmark for creativity, whether it be in AR/VR or with innovations like the BLACKBIRD.
