60 Seconds with Joshua Agamlong on his journey from Runner to Videographer

What is your role and what does it entail?

I’m a Videographer in the marketing team for Technicolor Creative Studios, which means I work across The Mill, MPC, Mikros Animation and Technicolor games. My role consists of creating reels, social edits, shooting events and filming interviews. All my responsibilities are to visually market all the brands under the TCS umbrella.


How did you get into the industry?

I started as a runner for The Mill in October 2019, but my time running was halted, along with the world, when Covid hit. However, three lockdowns later, I was promoted from runner to videographer!


What are some of your most favourite recent projects to have worked on?

We just finished working on a TCS marketing campaign, ‘Our Legacy is Our Future’, which consisted of a mini documentary for each of  the individual brands. Key team members and special guests were interviewed globally, and we were responsible for crafting them into short documentaries. This was a great project to be involved with because it took a great amount of collaborative effort to bring the idea to life, and collaboration is the best aspect of this role.

What are you listening to currently?

I’m listening to a mixture of artists between Freddie Gibbs, Burna Boy, Asake and Knucks.
