For its 2022 brand campaign, Castorama wanted to highlight its ecological commitments through a comic film with a beaver disguised as a salesman as the main character!
After a long search for references, the Parisian team of The Mill entirely designed Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, in a realistic style without falling into hyper-realism. Fur, paws, muzzles, eyes, all the elements have been worked on in detail to bring a soul and a personality to the mascots.
The film directed by James Rouse out of Wanda productions, concepted by the agency Publicis Conseil and crafted by our VFX team, was recognised by AdForum as one of the best ad of the week !
