Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you get into the industry?
I came across the VFX field during my years at the university. I studied cinema in Brazil, and being a director of photography was my first choice until I stumbled on a VFX supervisor on a set where I was working as 3rd camera assistant. I really liked the role and decided to follow the same path.
What are some of your favourite projects that you’ve worked on while at The Mill?
It would have to be Johnnie Walker and Allianz.
What is inspiring you?
Every job is a new challenge, and it inspires me a lot. I like managing the unpredictable and dealing with shots that, at the first view, look impossible to crack.
What is your favourite part about working in Amsterdam?
The work-life balance. I hate driving a car, and Amsterdam is the ideal place if you want to move around by bicycle. I live 20 minutes cycling from the studio and this is something I haven’t when I worked in Asia and South America.
