D&AD announces their 2022 awards shortlist with The Mill receiving 8 nominations

D&AD is an education charity that promotes excellence in design and advertising. Each year, the D&AD Awards gather the world’s best creative work from across the commercial design, advertising, production and craft disciplines to be judged by more than 400 global creative leaders, practitioners and innovators.

We we’re happy to see in their shortlist announcement The Mill were nominated for a total of eight awards across six categories:

  • Samsung ‘The Spider and the Window’ | Animation / Characters & Creatures & 3D Digital | Visual Effects / Computer Generated
  • France Télévisions ‘Sumo’ | Animation / 2D Digital
  • Amazon Prime “An Unlikely Friendship’  | Animation / 3D Digital
  • Yeezy X Gap – Kanye West ‘Heaven & Hell’  | Visual Effects / Music Videos
  • Winamax ‘The Lift’  | Visual effects / Practical Effects
  • Burberry ‘Open Spaces’  | Visual Effects / Compositing

Furthering the news, five of our creative collaborations were also nominated across various categories including Film, Music Videos, Sound design & Use of Music, Editing, Production and Design.
