A symbol of the French art de Vivre, Louis XIII cognac has been an institution since 1874. For this campaign, Louis XIII wanted us to highlight its artisanal legacy through the personality of American singer Solange Knowles.
This campaign, which was directed by Cannes Lions Grand Prix winning director Mati Diop, highlights a clear parallel between the creation of the universe and the creative process behind Louis XIII’s heritage. Our motion design and matte painting teams crafted a multitude of universes inspired by mother nature, that reference the brands’ creative flair.
With this artistic creation, Louis XIII cognac reaffirms its commitment to craftsmanship, quality, beauty, and human-made creations. The film was chosen as the ‘ad of the day’ by The Drum and the ‘ad of the week’ by Shoot Online. It was widely covered on a variety of social platforms and fashion media, who highly praised the artistic direction of the project.
