Mill Paris | Doja Cat ‘You Right’ nominated in the Berlin Music Video Awards 2022
After a nomination in the best visual effects category at the MTV video Music Awards in 2021, ‘You Right’ featuring Doja Cat and the Weeknd has been shortlisted at the Berlin Music Awards festival!
In June 2021, the singer Doja Cat unveiled her video ‘You right’, the eighth track from her album ‘Planet Her’. Featuring Canadian singer The Weeknd, ‘You right’ already has 162 million views.
Aligned with the cosmic aesthetics of the album, the track features the two artists in a fairytale world above the clouds. Director Quentin Deronzier invites us into a powder pink setting in the sky, the singer dreams of being with a man other than her own. Her emotions are conveyed through the raging weather elements. The light, the different colours added to the text create a divine atmosphere, all made possible with the power of VFX.
