What’s your self-isolation set-up at the moment?
I’m working on my Baselight. It’s all I’ve ever graded on so I’m very happy I could bring this into my house. Oh and lots of hard drives!

It’s lockdown; aside from your family, which four people, past or present, would you most like to be quarantined with?
Very tricky question I’m thinking outside the box here. It’s going to go… Larry David for some comedy, Seve Ballesteros because he’s a character and a golfing legend. Esther Phillips because she had an amazing voice and lastly Massimo Bottura because he’ll cook a rather nice meal.

We need entertainment, what’s your favorite short film?
Blinky. I won’t say anything just watch.

You’ve completed Netflix. And Amazon Prime. And Disney+. It’s on the hard stuff; board games. What do you pick and why?

KerPlunk because it reminds me of my childhood-plus it’s an epic game!

On a serious note, how do you think this situation will impact you individually, and the industry as a whole?

No doubt it’s going to be challenging times for everyone in our industry. All we can do is pull together and be kind to one another. It will be strange not having clients in the room, but I will use this time to grow as a colorist, experiment with new styles and ideas. Once we come out of the other side, I believe the industry will eventually come back stronger than ever. I hope this time in isolation gets the creative juices flowing for everyone, and hope we will see an explosion of new and unique work.
