Welcome to The Mill Design @ Home
“In these times of isolation and change, we’re paradoxically more connected to each other than ever before. Suddenly the borders are virtually non-existent, and a larger percentage of bandwidth is being used for creative collaboration, social activism, and just checking in and saying hi to each other.
What that means for Design at The Mill is that we’re leveraging unique styles and talent more than ever, searching for the most efficient and beautiful solutions out there. We’re heartened to see our Design Teams strong and collaborative, ready to not only solve design problems, but to use their art as a way of creative expression. We’re learning more about the global Design Team, and look forward to being smart about how we recruit and shape our team as One Mill.
This week we’re really excited to share some work from our Call to Art in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. We had some incredible submissions and decided to showcase three per week from now on. If you’d like to get involved, then please do submit to firstname.lastname@example.org for the chance to be featured.
In this week’s edition you will also find personal projects from our global design team that have kept them sane during lockdown, along with an abundance of design-focused articles, tips and tricks to keep your brain engaged over the coming weeks.
We hope you enjoy reading, stay safe!”
