Welcome to the latest issue of The Mill @ Home…and just like that, it’s July! This might not be the summer we’d all imagined (vacation? More like stay-cation!) so this week we aim to bring some colour to your Summer @ Home. Great reads, awesome creative work and ideas to make the most of your time off.
Make sure you check out our virtual events section, listing some incredible pre-recorded and live events coming up this month. Get creative with the kids and Ross Urien (Creative Director, London) with a fun crafty task or try our online recipe book featuring the best summertime recipes.
We’ve pulled together our favourite pieces of new work, including the psychedelic animation extravaganza for Dua Lipa’s summer hit ‘Hallucinate’, directed by The Mill’s Lisha Tan. Check out Lisha’s interview on this epic project below.
You will also find an update on The Mill’s ‘Call to Art’ project as well as more resources to support the crucial Black Lives Matter movement.
We might not be travelling to exotic climates this summer but a stay-cation can be just the tonic. Take care and enjoy your summer, wherever you decide to spend it.
As always, if you’ve anything you’d like to contribute to upcoming editions, please do drop us a line at millathome@themill.com.
