The Mill, MPC & Mikros Animation Parisian studios participate in Pink October in partnership with the RoseUp association
After participating in the La Parisienne solidarity race – the funds from which are donated to the Foundation for Medical Research in the fight against breast cancer – the three Paris-based Technicolor Creative Studios offices are continuing their initiatives in support of breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October.
Our studios have launched a collection of donations that will be given to the Parisian association RoseUp, which helps women with cancer maintain their rights and their place in French society. The organization focuses on several key areas, including therapeutic education (understanding the disease, managing side effects), reintegration into the workplace, and legal actions such as the reimbursement of wigs or the promotion of the right to be forgotten, i.e. the reduction of increased bank interest or the refusal of loans to people with cancer in France.
To support RoseUp and their impactful initiatives, we invited our on-site nurse to host a two-hour presentation in the aim of raising awareness of cancer screening, and to answer any questions people had in person.
Our artists also got involved through their participation in Inktober, a creative challenge that tasks participants with creating a drawing per day based on a theme. All of the artwork created for Inktober will be exhibited on November 17th in the Paris offices, during an event attended by all our Parisian studios.
