This November, The Mill is taking part in two virtual discussions as a part of the non-profit’s ‘Meet The Industry’ festival, in which ages 15 and up are given the opportunity to learn about different career paths into the industry.

Marketing & Client Engagement Manager from our London Studio, Solomon Thomson was part of a panel entitled ‘The Creative Industry – Explore our non-artist roles’. Solomon was joined by Tory Wire, Head of People at Union VFX and Neal Patel, Head of Production Finance – UK at DNEG, where they delved into their own areas of work, non-artist job roles and the routes they took into the industry.

Mill Director Alfie Johnson and Junior Developer Eleanor Edwards will also be hosting a panel titled ‘Do what you love – working your way into creative technology’. The two will share their experiences of joining The Mill, navigating early stages of progression in the creative industry, and discuss what it’s taken for them to get to where they are today.
