Three Mill projects pick up awards in VFX & AR at the ADC Awards

ADC has been championing the very best in commercial creativity ever since the club’s inception. For nearly a century, ADC has been an uninterrupted celebration of the artistry and craftsmanship that is synonymous with beautiful advertising and design. This year, Forward Festival ‘The Odd One Out’ and Vodafone ‘Gigacube’ picked up the Bronze and Silver for VFX at the ACD Awards.

Vodafone | Gigacube | Silver in VFX

Working with Jung Von Matt and Director Sebastian Strasser of Anorak Film, The Mill helped bring to life this action packed, energetic spot for Vodafone and their new 5G network. Executive Producer at The Mill’s Berlin studio, Justin Stiebel comments “This was especially exciting for us as it was the first big Berlin and London studio collaboration at The Mill”.

Forward Festival 2019 | The Odd One Out | Bronze | VFX

Directed by Raj Davsi with production and VFX at The Mill, ‘The Odd One Out’ was created for Forward Festival 2019, the film was unveiled in Munich and uses CG to portray the truly distinct markings of a fiercely independent black panther.

Mercedes Benz | 125 Years in Motorsport | Bronze in AR

The Mill partnered with Facebook Creative Shop and Mercedes-Benz to create this dynamic AR filter celebrating 125 Years of Mercedes-Benz in Motorsport. Working with Grand Central Recording Studios we integrated original engine sounds and faithfully recreated the cars, clothes and helmets of 4 of Mercedes past and present champions.  The filter has gained over 96 millions impressions since launching.
