Last night NFL ‘Next 100’ was recognized the most awarded program at the 41st Sports Emmy Awards!
Outstanding Open & Tease
Outstanding Studio or Production Design / Art Direction
Outstanding Editing Short Form
Outstanding Post-Produced Audio
The film follows 12 year old prodigy and YouTube sensation, Maxwell “Bunchie” Young, on a never ending, cross country game of touch football. On his journey, Young passes a bevy of past and present NFL Hall of Famers. The ending moments of the film merged into the actual broadcast of Super Bowl LIV, as it cut to show the group of young athletes on the field at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
2D Lead Artist and Shoot Supervisor, Adam Lambert, comments, “This project took innovation to a whole new level. The real-time nature and the need for the creative execution to flow seamlessly into the most watched sport event of the year…it was a huge undertaking. It was an honor to be involved in this project, to see it get this recognition at the Sports Emmys is the cherry on top!”
Congratulations to everyone involved, this was truly a team effort to kick off Super Bowl LIV in an nontraditional way.
