The Mill’s London Colour department have announced the promotions of Mill Colourist James Bamford to Head of Colour and Charlie Morris to Executive Producer, Colour.
James’ promotion comes very well deserved after a spectacular year, which saw him nominated three times at the British Arrows, winning a Gold for his work on Deka ‘Kiss’ at the Kinsale Shark Awards, a Gold for Guinness ‘The Purse’ and a Bronze for Carlsberg ‘The Lake’ at the Creative Circle Awards.
He comments, “We are excited about expanding our reach in Colour to transgress the mediums and look to make a mark in the long-form world of Colour. I am looking forward to strengthening our team and allowing our artists to truly stand out as a world-beating creative force.”
Charlie’s promotion to Executive Producer, Colour will see him working closely alongside James and the rest of the Colour team, to help further grow the enormous talent within the department and build upon the incredible string of successes the department has seen this year.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time for Colour here at The Mill,” Charlie says, “Building and developing relationships with creative talent is hugely important to me and the rest of the team and I’m chuffed to be able to drive that forward within both short and long-form disciplines.”
Both Charlie and James will play an integral role in bolstering the formidable output of the London studio’s Colour department.
