We’ve won two awards at the 20th Annual VES Awards

News March 9, 2022

Last night, the Visual Effects Society (VES), the industry’s professional global honorary society, held its 20th Annual VES Awards. The prestigious yearly celebration recognises outstanding visual effects artistry and innovation in film, animation, television, commercials and video games and the VFX supervisors, VFX producers and hands-on artists who bring this work to life.

We’re delighted to announce that we won two awards at the ceremony – our photoreal rendition of Einstein in Smart Energy’s ‘Einstein Knows Best’ took home the award for Outstanding Animated Character in a Commercial, while Verizon’s surreal and spectacular spot ‘The Reset’, took home an award for Outstanding Compositing & Lighting in a Commercial. In addition to these two wins, six of our projects were shortlisted.

A huge congratulations go out to our teams involved in crafting these incredible projects and to our agency and production partners. Check out the winning work below:

Smart Energy ‘Einstein Knows Best’  | Outstanding Animated Character in a Commercial

Alex Hammond, Harsh Borah, Clare Williams, Andreas Graichen and Chris Allen

Verizon ‘The Reset’ | Outstanding Lighting and Compositing in a Commercial
