Carsten is a highly acclaimed Executive Creative Director with 22 years experience behind him. He is renowned for his collaborative efforts with some of the most influential directors in the field. His impressive portfolio boasts iconic projects such as Sir Ridley Scott’s ‘Seven Worlds’ for Hennessy, Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman vs Superman’ for Turkish Airlines, Guy Ritchie’s ‘Pep Talk,’ and Matthijs van Heijningen’s ‘Trailblazers.’

Carsten has worked closely with highlighly recognised directors like Traktor, Ians Pons Jewel, Nick Gordon, Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, Frederic Planchon, and RSA’s Robert Stromberg.

In 2021, Carsten ventured into directing himself, and his directorial debut, the Marvel PS5 “Wolverine” Teaser Trailer, earned him a prestigious Silver Clio Award in 2022. He has also lended his hand to projects like ‘Sonic The Hedgehog 2’ for McDonald’s and Paramount, Apple’s captivating ‘Prehistoric Planet’ Teaser, and the iconic House of Dragons Billboard and Marketing Campaign for HBO.

Carsten’s diverse and extensive portfolio includes remarkable campaigns for industry giants such as Apple, Marvel, Sony, Lexus, Jaguar, VW, and McDonald’s, to name just a few.

Under Carsten’s exceptional leadership, The Mill London CG team achieved unparalleled success, winning a staggering 11 VES awards out of 19 nominations between 2017 and 2021, including the unforgettable Burberry “Festive” film. On a personal front, Carsten has wowed on the awards ciruit for years, picking up 12 prestigious awards in the last 5 years alone, including D&AD Pencils, Cannes Lions, and British arrows.
