Brief

Qatar aims to welcome more than six million visitors a year by 2030, tripling pre-pandemic levels. To achieve this ambition, Qatar wanted to highlight the wide range of activities and experiences proposed within its territory through a global campaign driven by endearing characters.

Approach

"Experience a World Beyond" tells the story of a keychain that accidentally gets detached from its host and that decides to explore Qatar with his friends. It finds himself on an adventure punctuated by the various activities suggested in Qatar ! Surfing on the dunes in the desert, scuba diving, paddle boarding or going to the market... his enthusiasm is such that he decides to stay with his friends on the peninsula.
In close collaboration with the Havas agency, the Solab production and the director Hervé de Crécy, Mikros MPC/The Mill Paris created 9 characters in full 3D. Each character is associated with an activity theme : Hugo for beach holidays, Buzz for adventure and sport, Tinka for art and culture, Ayla for urban escapades and Mei for romantic getaways.

Impact

The film was broadcast internationally as well as the print campaign with billboards in cities around the world: London, Milan, Philadelphia, Rome, Cannes....The long version of the film was picked up by several national and international media outlets such as The Drum, Horizont, Engage, Best Ads on TV, Engage, Media Marketing, Buzz Webzine and was even one of the most read articles in 2021 on LBB !
