Activision

Prototype 2

Summary

Deadly super-morphing powers, A grieving solider and a post-apocalyptic New York – Its Activision’s Prototype 2

We collaborated again with director Reynald Gresset and 72andSunny to create this gritty promo trailer for Activision's long awaited release of Prototye® 2 'The Power Of Revenge.' Set against a haunting version of "Hurt" by Jonny Cash, we're introduced to game's Hero character, Sgt James Heller and his emotional plight leading to a climactic end.
Working to a tight schedule, our VFX team created vivid CG elements that were integrated into live action and actual game footage to bring a ravaged New York city landscape to life.  This landscape really immersived the viewer in the world Sgt Heller's story and the vision of director Reynald.
Will Cohen, Executive producer explains, "It was great to get to work with Reynald so soon again after the success of Mass Effect and with 72 and Sunny.
"Our main challenges  were several complex shots where Heller impacts with the pavement and the concrete is thrown up towards camera, not to mention the almost full CG environments for the falling shots that were turned around super fast.  We love the end film and its really impactful".
Revenge is a dish best served cold and mutated.
