Summary

RSPB embarks on its first ever TV ad campaign to encourage the nation to build habitats for wildlife

In this charming spot, created by Royle Productions and director Charlie Crane, we see a bird struggling to find somewhere to live in a stark and inhospitable city until a young girl starts to build home-made habitats in her back garden. The ad aims to show how people can improve their gardens and provide homes for small species such as hedgehogs, birds and squirrels. The ad introduces the "Giving nature a home" strapline, which has been incorporated into the RSPB's logo, replacing "A million voices for nature".

Mill Producer Luis Martin comments, "It was great teaming up with Royle Productions again. Our matte painting team added a more urban feel to the initial shots, giving the rest of the film a bigger impact. We decided to add a natural grade to keep it in theme with nature and wildlife, as well as to compliment the beautiful shooting style."
